Our Beliefs & Doctrinal Basis

At Hospital Chapel, our faith is firmly rooted in the Holy Scriptures and centered on the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our beliefs and doctrinal foundation guide everything we do—from worship and discipleship to missions, evangelism, and community impact.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, revealing His plan of salvation and providing direction for righteous living. We affirm the fundamental truths of the Christian faith, including the Trinity, the deity of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, salvation by grace through faith, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the unity of believers, and the hope of Christ’s return.

1. The unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the God-head .

2. The Sovereignty of God in creation.

3. The Divine inspiration and entire trustworthiness of the Holy Scripture (the Bible) as originally given and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

4. The universal sinfulness and guilt of all men since the fall, rendering them subject to God’s wrath and condemnation, without respect of persons and without discrimination, on account of race, nation, colour, social positions or otherwise,

5. Redemption from the guilt, penalty, dominion and pollution of sin only through the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ

9. The indwelling, baptism and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer and in the Church
