Our Vision

Reaching the Unreached, Discipling the Nations.

Our Mission

Building an ARMY of VIBRANT CHRISTIANS, people filled with the SPIRIT of GOD and POWER, literally living the LIFE of CHRIST (the word of God) in DIGNITY, INTEGRITY, and QUALITY, impacting their community for CHRIST.

History of Hospital Chapel

Hospital Chapel started as a “Hospital Christian Fellowship” in the year 1999, when some Christian brethren who were employed as staff of the National Hospital for Women and Children, Abuja decided to fellowship together and to pray. The expression of their desire to fellowship together culminated into the first meeting which was held on Friday 24th September, 1999 at 2:00 PM in Dr Bunmi Ladipo’s office.

Due to constraint of space, the Fellowship later moved to Dr Bose Babaniyi’s office, and was finally permitted the use of the National Hospital Auditorium after an application was written to the Hospital Management.

Beliefs/Doctrinal Basis of Hospital Chapel Abuja

One of the foundational truths of the Christian faith upheld by Hospital Chapel Abuja is the unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in the Godhead—commonly known as the doctrine of the Trinity. This teaching affirms that there is one true God, eternally existing in three distinct Persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. These three are not separate gods, but are perfectly united in essence, purpose, and nature… Learn more

At the foundation of the Christian faith is the profound truth of God’s sovereignty in creation—the understanding that God is the supreme ruler, creator, and sustainer of all things. As declared in Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth,” we see that everything that exists owes its origin to God. He is not a part of creation; He is above it, before it, and the One who brought it into being by His power and will… Learn more

At Hospital Chapel, we uphold the Bible as the infallible Word of God, given by divine revelation and preserved as the ultimate guide for all matters of faith and conduct. Learn more

A central truth of the Christian faith is the recognition of the universal sinfulness and guilt of all humanity. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm that since the fall of man, every person—regardless of background, status, or identity—has been affected by sin and stands in need of God’s mercy and redemption. At the core of the Christian message is the truth of redemption—God’s gracious act of delivering humanity from the guilt, penalty, dominion, and pollution of sin through the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm that salvation is found only in Jesus Christ, whose death on the cross provides complete and sufficient redemption for all who believe… Learn more

A cornerstone of the Christian faith is the truth of the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and His ascension to the right hand of God the Father. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm that Jesus Christ not only died for the sins of humanity, but also rose physically from the dead and now reigns in glory, victorious over sin, death, and the grave… Learn more

At the heart of true Christian transformation is the active presence and power of the Holy Spirit. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm that the work of salvation is not achieved by human effort alone, but through the gracious and powerful ministry of the Holy Spirit, who brings conviction of sin, leads to repentance, and brings about the miracle of the new birth… Learn more

At the heart of the Christian gospel is the truth of justification—God’s gracious act of declaring a sinner righteous through faith in Jesus Christ. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm that justification is entirely by the grace of God and received through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ, not by human effort, merit, or works… Learn more

A vital truth of the Christian faith is the active presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer and within the Church. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm that the Holy Spirit not only brings about the new birth but also indwells, empowers, equips, and transforms believers for a life of purpose, holiness, and effective service… Learn more

A central hope of the Christian faith is the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm that Jesus Christ, who died, rose again, and ascended into heaven, will come again in person, just as He promised. This truth is not symbolic or figurative—it is a real, future event that every believer eagerly anticipates… Learn more

A defining truth of the Christian faith is the unity of all believers in Christ. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm that everyone who has placed faith in Jesus Christ is part of one spiritual family, joined together not by human identity or background, but by a shared relationship with Him. This unity transcends every earthly distinction and reflects the heart and purpose of God for His people… Learn more

Divine healing is a vital expression of God’s power, compassion, and redemptive work in the lives of His people. At Hospital Chapel, we believe that God not only saves and restores spiritually but also heals physically, emotionally, and mentally, according to His will and through His power. Healing is deeply rooted in Scripture and remains a present reality for believers today.

A central hope of the Christian faith is the promise of the rising of believers to meet the Lord in the air, often referred to as the rapture. At Hospital Chapel, we affirm this glorious event as a future reality in which Jesus Christ will return for His people, and believers—both living and dead—will be gathered to Him in triumph and transformation.,, Learn more
